So I figure I try my hand at some fan fiction... Now this is my first story ever so I would apprieciate all the comments/buzzes as possible! Thankx! xD

Chapter 1

Aw manâ�¦ Iâ�™m running so late for work. It figures the line would practically be around the corner. I need my Starbucks or Iâ�™m going to be so pissy today. I looked down at my watch to see 7:30 then back up to the line.

â�œUghâ�¦ Fuck it,â� I said louder than anticipated. I looked to the right to see my bus pulling up at the stopâ�¦ SHIT! I began running so fast up the hill that I didnâ�™t notice someone running just as fast in my direction. I tried to stop, but we collidedâ�¦ Hard!

As I hit the concrete my knee immediately began bleeding. I looked over to see the guy laid out in the middle of the ground with his arms spread out as well as his legs.

â�œOh my godâ�¦ I am so sorry,â� I crawled over and kneeled over him, â�œcan I help you up.â�

He looked over at me and our eyes met for the first time.

â�œMy angel from Heaven,â� giving this goofy grin making me blush.

â�œIâ�˜m so so so so so sorryâ�¦ can I help you with anythingâ�¦ you need me to take you to the hospital?â�

â�œNoâ�¦ no I think Iâ�˜m good,â� he smiled at me while sitting up and rubbing the back of his head.

I giggled, â�œI think you hit your head a little too hard.â�

â�œNoâ�¦ I think I hit it just right.â� he replied while coming to a stand.

He reached his hand out for me to take. I grabbed it and he pulled me up and into him.

â�œI wanna try this again,â� he said with my hand still in his. He cleared his throat, â�œMy name is Patrick, whatâ�™s your name, do you have a boyfriend and, depending on the answer to the last question, can I take you to dinner?â�

â�œOkay now Iâ�™m starting to think you bumped your head too hard,â� I laughed.

â�œNo Iâ�˜m seriousâ�¦ come to dinner with me,â� he put my hand over his heart, â�œdo you feel that? My heart has never raced this fastâ�¦ it must be love!â�

I blushed, â�œyouâ�˜ve got to be kidding me?â�

â�œKidding you about what?â�

â�œYou almost bashed your brains out, but all you care about is taking me to dinner?â�

â�œWellâ�¦ itâ�™s not everyday I get attacked by a gorgeous girl,â� he playfully moved his eyebrows up and down.

â�œOh wowâ�¦ a crazy one I see,â� I put my hands on his chest and giggled, â�œlook Iâ�˜d really love to stay and chat, but Iâ�˜m extremely late for a job I ainâ�˜t even supposed to ever be late for again.â�

â�œEven getting caught up on your words is the cutest thing Iâ�˜ve ever seen,â� he was practically hugged me now.

I tried to back away, â�œIâ�˜m serious nowâ�¦ let me goâ�¦ Iâ�˜m late for work.â�

Doing as he was told, â�œwell where are you going? Can I at least walk you there?â�

â�œSeriously I canâ�˜t waste anymore timeâ�¦ your going to get me fired.â� I said as I began jogging back up the hill.

He yelled to me as I moved further away from him, â�œcan I at least have your number?â�

â�œIf its meant to beâ�¦ weâ�˜ll see each other again,â� with that said I hauled ass to the bus stop.

Holy crapâ�¦ she hit me like a flash of light. Iâ�™ve never been tackled by a chick beforeâ�¦ let alone a gorgeous chick like her. I had to see her againâ�¦ I needed to be near herâ�¦ Iâ�™m craving her like a chocolate fudge sundae. I looked to the side of me and picked up my hat she knocked completely off my head. I continued to make my way down the hill like I was doing before she burst into my life. I took my cell phone outta my pocket and noticed it was trashed. Dammitâ�¦ now how am I supposed to get in touch with Pete.

I continued to walk, a little upset about my phone, but still in a good mood.

As I made my way to catch the first cab I seen I smiled to myself. I couldnâ�™t get this mystery girl outta my head. I had to see her again, but DC was a big city and I didnâ�™t know my way around for shit. Speaking of which I was kinda lost! I looked around to find a pay phoneâ�¦ maybe I should call Pete before I go anywhere. I reached in my pocket to find any quartersâ�¦ damn! Today must be an unlucky day for me because here I am in a city I know nothing aboutâ�¦ no phoneâ�¦ and no damn money, not to mention I left my wallet with Pete earlier. I put my hands inside my pockets and just started to walk, taking in the wonderful scenery.

After about 2 hours of walking around in the blazing sun I noticed I was standing in front of the White House. I went over and sat at the park that was across the street. I felt a little out of place, the only other people in the park were homeless men and women. Itâ�™s a shame how weâ�™re in our Nationâ�™s Capital, right in front of the White House mind you, and there are so many homeless people sleeping here. I kinda felt bad. I got up and continued to make my way to the Hard Rock CafÃ© that was located on I think Pete told me 7^th street, but then again I wasnâ�™t paying attention. I continued to walk down the street when I seen itâ�¦ 8^TH STREET! I donâ�™t think Iâ�™ve ever been this happy to see the number 8. I picked up the pace while I walked onto 7^th street. Just as I bent the corner I seen Pete talking to a chick.

â�œPeteâ�¦ dudeâ�¦ I never thought Iâ�˜d be so happy to see you,â� I said jogging up to him.

â�œDudeâ�¦ where the fuck you been? Weâ�˜ve been waiting for over three hours,â� he replied slapping my hand.

â�œLong story,â� making it short, â�œthe others inside?â�

â�œHey Patrickâ�¦ Iâ�˜d like you to meet Samantha,â� Pete said admiring the tall blonde standing next to him.

â�œHi,â� I replied looking past her.

â�œSoâ�¦ just to let you know we gotta double date after the show,â� Pete said raising his eyebrow.

I was slightly annoyed, after the day I had I just wanted to go back to the hotel and take a nice hot shower. I rolled my eyes, â�œwhatever dude.â�

I walked in the Hard Rock and looked for my other buddies. They were sitting in the corner in a booth.

Joe stood up and yelled across the restaurant, â�œPatrickâ�¦ what the hell took you so long?â�

â�œSorry ran into some troubleâ�¦ but Iâ�˜m here now so what we eatingâ� I said slapping my hands together.

â�œWell nothing,â� Andy looked nervously.

â�œHuh,â� looking puzzled.

â�œWeâ�¦ uhâ�¦ kinda already ate,â� Joe looked over at Andy then back at me.

I looked between my two friends then just turned to leave the restaurant. I was done, the day couldnâ�™t get any worse. I walked back outside to Pete and his new random chick.

â�œTricksterâ�¦ where you going?â�

â�œLook Pete I gotta go home for awhile,â� I replied still walking not even turning to face him.

â�œWellâ�¦ we still have a double date laterâ�¦ donâ�˜t forget dudeâ�¦ be ready at seven,â� he yelled to me, but I continued to walk around the corner.

I loved Pete, but ever since Lisa and I broke up heâ�™s been trying to get me to date again. Itâ�™s quite annoying. I walked a block down to the hotel I looked at my watch reading three-thirty. Cool I got sometime to take a nap and put some ice on my head.
